Nexo Networks was founded in 2026 by Francis Gingras, a Canadian engineer who has called Playa del Carmen home for more than a decade. Nexo combines international engineering standards with deep local experience to deliver reliable, carefully designed technology for exceptional properties throughout the Riviera Maya.

The challenge
Complete coverage in a home that demanded careful planning.
Riviera Maya residences often combine concrete and brick walls with cement board such as Durock. These materials are well suited to the local environment, but they absorb and interrupt WiFi signals. Across a substantial property, simply installing a more powerful router does not solve the problem.
The solution
One professional infrastructure connecting the entire property.
Nexo studied the layout, construction materials and the way each space would be used. We positioned wired access points to serve the interiors and principal outdoor areas, then connected the cameras and electronic entry system to the same professionally managed network. During installation, we tested coverage on site and refined each location before making it permanent.
The result

Final testing confirmed reliable coverage without dead zones across the home’s principal living areas.
